Mark H. Cohen
With over 20 years of b to c and b to b marketing experience, and over 15 years of digital marketing experience to boot, Mark H. Cohen is uniquely positioned to guide clients through social media planning and implementations that are as effective as they are efficient. His perspective is that social media is just that — media. And not unlike other mediums, it is imperative to approach social media strategically.
Mark ended his ad career over 10 years after his start in the mailroom and rise to Executive Vice President for CCM, Inc. During those years he was active in the industry trade group, the PMA, where he was a founding member of the NY Chapter. He also taught promotion marketing, and the first web marketing class at NYU’s School of Continuing Education.
In 1994, after co-producing the first concert broadcast on the web — The Rolling Stones live from Dallas, TX — he co-founded one of the first interactive marketing agencies in NY, Premiere Interactive Media. Mark sold Premiere to his partner in 1996, when he was recruited to become Janus Capital’s first Webmaster.
After leading Janus into the internet age, he left in 2001 to start an in-home web consultancy which soon became Foci, LLC in 2003 — the 7th largest web developer in Denver.
Following Foci, Mark became VP Marketing for Fetter Logic, a Denver-based software developer and consultant to the brokerage industry where he stayed until he was recruited by Human Factors International to become their VP of Marketing. |
